TYPES OF WINDOW TINT
At Vivid, we've built our business around excellent workmanship and premium quality products. Therefore, we do not sell economy tints that are known to fade, peel, bubble, and offer minimal heat rejection and warranties. Instead, we use superior quality Kavaca automotive window films by Ceramic Pro. An advanced heat-rejecting film with a Lifetime Warranty. We use state-of-the-art installation software and advanced techniques to ensure a Satisfaction Guaranteed installation.
There are two categories of window tints:
-
Economy Tints
-
Premium Tints
At Vivid, we do not offer economy tints.

Economy tints are known to fade, peel, develop bubbles and offer minimal heat rejection. They usually have either short term or zero manufacturer warranty. Economy tints are also known as:
-
Dyed Tint
-
Metalized Tint
-
Hybrid Tint

Dyed tints may have a nice appearance initially, but they tend to delaminate, develop bubbles, and fade. They're also quite inefficient at blocking heat from the sun.
Though the upfront cost of dyed tint may seem like a deal, it will eventually become very unsightly, and the need to remove the film and replace it will cause the original cost to nearly triple.
Metalized tints last longer and reject heat better than dyed tints. Still, they tend to fade, and have a shiny appearance that is undesirable to most people. In addition, the metal particles in the dye can interfere with technology like cell phone signals and tire-pressure monitoring systems.

Hybrid tints are a combination of dyed and metalized tints. They continue fall short in color stability, heat rejection and durability.

NANO-CERAMIC WINDOW TINT FILMS

In addition, the advanced proprietary technology in Kavaca window tint is metal free to ensures zero signal interference, and offers superior clarity, and nighttime glare reduction. Kavaca advanced window films are available in multiple VLTs (shades)– each backed by a LIFETIME WARRANTY.
